Program Overview
FCSO organizes outreach clinics across Kenya, providing free cancer screenings and treatment support for underserved communities, particularly in marginalized settlements. Our initiatives also include health education workshops to raise awareness about cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment. We prioritize gender-sensitive healthcare, addressing the unique needs of women and men in cancer care and prevention.
Achievements
- Significantly increased access to cancer treatments for vulnerable populations.
- Enhanced awareness and education on cancer prevention within rural and informal communities.
- Addressed gender disparities in cancer care by offering specialized programs and resources tailored to women’s health needs, including breast and cervical cancer screenings.
Through these programs, FCSO continues to make a meaningful impact by joining hands against cancer in Kenya, addressing not only the medical needs of patients but also the social, environmental, and human rights factors that influence their lives and communities.
